Hints to improve site performance

  • Use JPG instead of PNG

Wix automatically optimizes the size of the images for you and there is no need to do it yourself. It is recommended using JPG images instead of PNG images unless you require a transparent background.

  • Delete unused app

Wix apps take time to load app data especially if they are connecting to an external server (e.g. Google calendar). Uninstall Wix apps that are not in use. Please note that apps may be pre-installed under some Wix templates. Please reference to user guide for the steps on how to delete Wix apps.

  • Turn on cache function

Cache rendering is great for a website's homepage or other pages that receive high traffic. Please reference to user guide to see how the cache function can help speed up your Wix site.
